Quentin Tarantino, whose joint ode to exploitation films with Robert Rodriguez, Grindhouse, will hit theaters on April 6, is raiding his personal collection of exploitation flicks for the New Beverly Cinema's Los Angeles Grindhouse Festival 2007, a marathon that kicks off Sunday March 4th and runs through April 30th.
The festival will feature more than 50 picks from Tarantino's collection and will unspool in themed double and triple features, including a Euro Sex Comedies Triple Feature, Back-to-Back Kung Fu Superstar Angela Mao Double Feature and All Blood Triple. Individual titles include Grave of the Vampire, written by The Sopranos creator David Chase, blaxploitation films Brotherhood of Death and The Mack, as well as the very adult cartoon Shame of the Jungle, featuring the voices of Jim Belushi and Bill Murray.
